The Magpies get their 1st three point haul in a dull encounter at the Avenue Stadium..The frustations of losing to a last minute goal against Crawley and dropping two points due to a 96th minute 40 yard fluke against Welling were somewhat reduced by Andy Harris' last minute goal in this game. One can only sympathise with Clevedon's players and fans. (did you see any?)
Jason McIvor was sent off in the final minute of play by Mr Spicer from Totton (he's always a poor ref whenever I see him!) for a challenge made on diving David Mehew in the centre circle- a professional foul it was not!!
Before these final minutes, both teams had chances. Clevedon are a team of stiflers and took the fizz out of Dorchester's play, meaning a poor spectacle for the fans...
Still, it's three points and that's what matters. We are now three points better off than Weymuff!!
